Mr. Bolton brings to each assignment over 30 years of experience in the leadership and executive management of both public and private engineering and professional service organizations with annual revenues ranging from $10 million to over $500 million. Prior to founding his management consulting practice, he held senior executive positions with Aqua Alliance Inc., Brown and Caldwell, Greiner Engineering, Metcalf & Eddy, Inc., The Earth Technology Corporation, The Lincoln National Bank Corporation, and Roy F. Weston, Inc. Mr. Bolton served these organizations in a variety of executive roles including President and Chief Executive Officer, Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning, and Director of International Programs.

Mr. Bolton has helped clients develop and implement strategic plans, acquisition programs, operations/profit enhancement initiatives, organizational development programs, and ownership transition plans. He has written articles on strategic planning, ownership transition, and leadership in professional services organizations. He has been a featured speaker at both the local and national level for The American Consulting Engineers Council, The Society for Marketing Professional Services, and The Society of American Military Engineers.

He has conducted numerous workshops and seminars on Ownership and Leadership Transition, Firm Valuation, Taking Your Firm Public, Client-Driven Selling, Project Partnering, Project Management, Successful Proposal Strategies, Strategic Marketing, and Customer/Client Team Building. He has authored articles for The Journal of Management in Engineering, The ACEC Journal, and The Professional Services Management Journal.

Mr. Bolton earned a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania.
